George Santayana (* 16. Dezember 1863 in Madrid; † 26. September 1952 in Rom; eigentlich Jorge Augustín Nicolás Ruiz de Santayana) war ein VS-amerikanischer Philosoph, Schriftsteller und Literaturkritiker spanischer Herkunft. Santayana ist einer der einflußreichsten Vertreter der amerikanischen Philosophie des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts und gilt als politisch Konservativer.
