Nitroglycerin ist ein Sprengstoff. Es wird auch medizinisch zur Gefäßerweiterung eingesetzt. Als Sprengstoff wird es nur in Form von Dynamit eingesetzt, da Nitroglycerin allein hochexplosiv ist.
